Terms of Use for Finance MCP
Last updated:
01About these terms
Finance MCP is provided by Insurely AB, company registration number 559103-5646, Stockholm, Sweden. By connecting Finance MCP to your AI tool, you accept these terms.
The service is offered to private individuals. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. No account is created.
The collection of your data from insurance, pension and credit providers is governed by Insurely’s terms for data access, which you accept when you identify yourself. These terms govern what happens after that: making the collected data available to the AI tool you have chosen.
02What the connection gives access to
Once you have added Finance MCP as a connector in your AI tool, that tool can read the data you have given it access to. You choose which providers to include.
The following data may be shared:
- Insurance: provider, type of policy, policy number, cover and add-ons, sum insured, premium, deductible, and start and renewal dates.
- Pension: occupational pension, collectively agreed occupational pension, private pension savings, individual pension savings (IPS) and the national public pension — provider, value, fees, monthly contributions and transferability.
- Investments: investment savings accounts (ISK), endowment insurance and securities custody accounts — account name and number, value, holdings, acquisition value and fees.
- Loans: mortgages and unsecured loans — lender, outstanding debt, interest rate, fixed-rate period and amortisation terms.
Depending on the market and the data category, your personal identity number may be included in the data shared with your AI tool.
03What is not shared
Data revealing health is never shared with your AI tool. This covers sickness insurance, private health insurance, accident insurance and life insurance subject to health assessment, as well as information about claims and benefits relating to health. Such data is not collected via Insurely’s services, even where the provider you selected holds it.
Policy documents and terms and conditions from your providers cannot be retrieved through Finance MCP.
Payment accounts, savings accounts and credit cards collected through a bank connection are not included in the service.
04What the connection cannot do
Finance MCP can only read. The connection cannot execute purchases, sales, payments, transfers or cancellations, and it cannot change your data, your policies or any settings with any provider.
Insurely gives no advice and no recommendations regarding insurance, pensions, investments or loans.
05Your AI tool
Once the data has left us, the provider of your AI tool is responsible for it. We have no contractual relationship with that provider, no visibility into how the data is processed or how long it is kept, and no ability to delete it from there.
What happens to your data after it reaches your AI tool is governed by your agreement with that provider, not by these terms. Your AI tool may also be operated from outside the EEA. Read that provider’s terms and privacy policy, including where it processes your data, before you connect.
We are not responsible for what your AI tool tells you. An AI tool can misread the data, miscalculate, or state things the data does not contain. We do not see its answers and do not check them.
It is always you who decides what to do with the information. Before you act on it — cancelling a policy, moving a pension, changing a loan — check it against your provider.
06Personal data
Insurely AB is the controller for the processing of your personal data in the service. The provider of your AI tool is an independent controller for its own processing of the data shared with it.
How we process your personal data is described in our privacy notice.
07If you are based in the United Kingdom
This section applies in addition to the rest of these terms where you use the service from the United Kingdom.
Our processing of your personal data is then subject to the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Insurely AB remains the controller.
Insurely is not established in the United Kingdom and has appointed a representative under Article 27 of the UK GDPR: Lionheart Squared, 17 Glasshouse Studios, Fryern Court Road, Burgate, Fordingbridge, Hampshire, SP6 1QX, United Kingdom. You may contact the representative on any matter relating to our processing of your personal data at info@lionheartsquared.com.
When we collect your data from UK providers it is transferred to our environment in the EU/EEA. That transfer is covered by the United Kingdom’s adequacy regulations for the EEA, which means the data is treated as having an equivalent level of protection here.
You may lodge a complaint about our processing of your personal data with the Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, ico.org.uk.
The choice of Swedish law in section 13 does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the United Kingdom, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of the United Kingdom.
08Withdrawing the connection
You can revoke the connection at any time. If you revoke the connection with Finance MCP, you will no longer be able to share your financial data to your AI-provider, using the MCP.
Data already shared with your AI tool must be removed there by you.
09Accuracy of the data
The data comes from the providers you selected and is presented as received from them. We do not verify its content.
It is a snapshot taken at the time of collection. It may be incomplete, delayed or no longer current, and some providers report less detail than others.
Where there is a discrepancy, the data held by your provider prevails. Decisions you make on the basis of data obtained through the service are your own.
10Availability
The service is free of charge. We may change, restrict or discontinue it, and may limit the number of requests in order to protect the service and the providers we collect data from.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection legislation.
11Changes
We may amend these terms. Amended terms will be published here with a new date and will apply the next time you connect to the service.
12Contact and complaints
You can reach us at support@insurely.com, or if you have a privacy related question, at privacy@insurely.com.
Complaints concerning the processing of your personal data may be lodged with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten), imy.se.
You may also lodge a complaint about the processing of your personal data with the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work, or where you believe the issue arose.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are to be settled by the Swedish courts. If you are a consumer resident outside Sweden, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
